Jalan will begin accepting lodging reservations on December 28 for the New Year’s National Travel Support (from January 10, 2023). The target areas are as follows.

Hokkaido, Kochi, Saga, Oita, Okinawa
The nationwide travel support program at the beginning of the year will subsidize a flat 20% of the travel price (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products) and provide electronic coupons (2,000 yen per night for weekdays/1,000 yen per night for holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc.
