Disney, Mickey & Minnie in chocolate colors. Valentine related items including collaboration with Godiva.

Posted on December 28, 2022 by News Admin

Walt Disney Japan will release Valentine-related items at Disney Store stores on January 1, 2023. Prior to this, Disney Flagship Tokyo and shopDisney, Disney’s official online store, will begin sequential pre-sales on December 27.

The jointly planned products with Godiva, which also appeared in 2022, will be new for Valentine’s Day 2023. This year’s lineup features Mickey and Minnie Mouse in chocolate-colored costumes. The newly drawn artwork features images of Mickey and Minnie decorated with the initials M and ribbons, as if they were adorably wrapped.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Disney Store, an original assortment box, “Grand Plus,” will be added to the lineup. The two-tiered box, illustrated with gold foil stamping, is filled with chocolates such as Godiva truffles and Carré assortments in two types of original individual wrappings.

Other limited-edition sweets available only for this occasion include a chocolate assortment box with plush toys and an original chocolate and pouch set with character prints.

Also available are chocolate-colored tote bags with gold embroidered Mickey designs, plush toys, plush keychains, and sundries that are original Disney Store items.

Valentine’s Day sweets with pop designs in pink tones are also available. A box of baked chocolates with a Mickey icon design, Mickey and Minnie design crunch chocolates, and an alien design chocolate tin with an image of a chocolate board are available.

The “TSUM TSUM” series also offers plush toys perfect for Valentine’s Day. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, and Pooh and Piglet are each paired together on a heart-shaped cushion. The hat, jacket, and sealing wax-like icons are also key features of the series, which evoke the appearance of melting chocolate.

Exclusive Valentine design costumes are also available from “nuiMOs,” fashion models in the plush world, and “UniBEARsity,” the Disney Store original character. The costumes are designed to resemble chocolate. The tuxedo is based on bitter colors and features a pattern on the bow tie and lining that looks like chocolate wrapping. The dress is made of velour and satin fabrics for a luxurious look.
