JR East Trading, JR Tokai Trading, JR West Trading, JR Kyushu Trading, and JR F Trading will release “3-color moquette fabric cushions” on December 22 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the railroad.
The cushion is made of the same material as the seat fabric of the Yamagata Shinkansen (E3 series ordinary car), Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen (N700S green car), and Sanyo/Kyushu Shinkansen (N700 series nonreserved seat). 40 x 40 x 4 cm, the side tag has the logo of the 150th anniversary of the railroad’s opening. Three types (16,500 yen each) with different front and back fabrics are available at the following mail order sites.
