January 1-3, 2023 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. each day

January 4-5, 2023 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day

Although the shrine is open 24 hours a day throughout the year, all parking lots on the grounds will be closed from the night of January 31, 2012 until January 5, 2023, when the “Hatsuebisu” (New Year’s Festival for Business and Prosperity) will be held. The old votive card collection points will be located at the South, East, and West entrances to the temple, and car purification services will be available from January 6.

Please note that parking is prohibited on all surrounding roads during the above period. The restricted areas and temporary parking lots are shown in the guide map (PDF). Subways (except Kami-Iida Line) will be in operation all night on New Year’s Eve. For details, please check the official webpage of the Nagoya City Transportation Bureau.
