Tokyu Corporation will implement a timetable revision on March 18, 2023. The revision will apply to all lines except the Setagaya Line and the Kodomonokuni Line.
With this revision, the Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line between Hiyoshi Station and Shin-Yokohama Station will open. At the same time, the Sotetsu Shin-Yokohama Line between Shin-Yokohama Station and Hazawa-Yokohama Kokudai Station will also open and begin direct service with Tokyu’s Toyoko Line and Meguro Line. In addition, passengers will be able to connect from Shin-Yokohama Station to the Tokaido Shinkansen’s early morning down train.
In addition, the Meguro Line will shorten the time required for the weekday morning up express service. On the Denentoshi Line, some of the weekday morning up expresses will be converted to expresses, and late-night weekends and holidays will be converted to semi-expresses in order to shorten the travel time between major stations. Other lines will also review their timetables in consideration of usage conditions and other factors.
