Tokyo Monorail has launched a “Family Ticket” to accommodate travelers returning home or traveling during the year-end and New Year holidays. In conjunction with this, the company will also sell “Mobile Tickets,” which can be purchased on the Internet and can be used to board the train by presenting the ticket screen.
The “Family Ticket” is a round-trip ticket between Hamamatsucho and Haneda Airport that allows two accompanying children of elementary school age or younger to travel free of charge. Each ticket is priced at 950 yen and can be used for 10 days from the start of use. The sales period is from December 15 to January 9, 2023, and the usage period is from December 17 to January 9, 2023.
The “Mobile Ticket” can be reserved and purchased at any time from a smartphone or other mobile device. The tickets are cashless and ticketless, and can be used by presenting the screen to the ticket agent. In addition to one-way tickets between Haneda Airport stations and Monorail Hamamatsucho station, “Family Ticket” is available for a limited time.
