JR East will make Google Maps’ Indoor Live View available at six commercial facilities and 65 stations.
Indoor Live View allows passengers to receive visual guidance to their destinations within stations. 17 stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area have been offering this service since July 2021, and from December, the service will be newly available at 6 commercial facilities: Gransta, Grand Roof, Grand Roof Front, Ecute Edition Shimbashi, Ecute Edition Yokohama, and Rière Fujisawa, and Ecute Edition Shimbashi, Ecute Edition Yokohama, and Rielle. In addition, 48 stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area have been added, making the service available at a total of 65 stations.
This function displays station facilities such as escalators, elevators, stairs, restrooms, platforms, ticket gates, ticket vending machines, Midori-no madoguchi, ATMs, and coin lockers, as well as stores such as NewDays and Beck’s Coffee Shop.
