Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido, in collaboration with Columbia Sportswear Japan, with which the town signed a comprehensive partnership agreement in 2021, has developed and started accepting applications for the “Festival Woods 17L Cooler Tote,” a tax return gift for the hometown. The product will be sold at “Rakuten Furusato Tax” and “Satofuru” in limited quantities of 250. The price is 13,000 yen.
The bag is decorated with the “DAISETSU pattern,” a blue fabric that represents the beauty of Kamikawa’s four seasons, including the Daisetsuzan Mountains, Kurodake ropeway, and skiing scenes. It is equipped with insulation, water repellency, and a convenient mesh pocket for coolant. The bag measures approximately 34 x 20 x 33 cm (W x D x H) and has a 17 L capacity, making it easy for even women to carry, and it has a wide opening and can be hung over the shoulder for ease of use.
Through the project, the two parties will promote the attractiveness of the Taisetsu Mountains and other regions, as well as lifestyles in harmony with nature, and will continue to develop a variety of products in the future.
