JR West will cancel all “Haruka” limited express trains and some “Kuroshio” trains due to track switching work for the opening of the Umekita area at Osaka Station.
From the nighttime of February 11, 2023 to the early morning of February 13, 2023, track switching work will be carried out at two locations within the Shin-Osaka – Nishi-Kujo Station area. As a result, all Haruka trains between Yasu, Kusatsu, Kyoto and Kansai Airport, and all Kuroshio trains between Kyoto, Shin-Osaka and Tennoji will be cancelled. However, the Kuroshio will turn back to Tennoji and operate in the direction of Wakayama.
