Hotel New Otani Tokyo (4-1 Kioicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will open a collaboration room with Suzy’s Zoo, a character originating in the U.S., from January 4 to March 31, 2023.
Suzy’s Zoo, based on the childhood memories of San Diego-based artist Suzy Spafford, is a story about a little duck boy named “Witzy,” celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2023 since its birth in 1968 and the first collaboration with a hotel in the world.
The Garden Tower Standard Room (27.3m2), limited to two rooms per day, will be decorated with the world of Suzy’s Zoo, featuring illustrations with a gentle touch, and characters such as “Boof” the teddy bear friend and “Lala” the stuffed rabbit that appear in picture books, making the guests feel familiar with the characters. and Lala, the stuffed rabbit that appears in the book.
As a special offer for guests, the hotel will provide T-shirts and other goods featuring illustrations of the 55th anniversary.
