After the approval of the 1994 decentralization law, the operation and maintenance of water supply facilities was transferred to the State Water Companies (SWCs), but most of the states were facing serious problems such as lack of budget, human resources, and equipment. However, most of the states were facing serious problems such as budget shortfalls, human resource shortages, and equipment shortages. This cooperation aims to establish a training implementation system at PWC training centers through the development of training curriculum and materials, development of training management manuals, construction of training centers, and training of lecturers and coordinators, etc., in order to contribute to the improvement of organizational capacity for water supply security in Sudan. The PWC training center has contributed to the improvement of organizational capacity for water supply stability in Sudan.
