Renewal of container hotel “SEN.RETREAT CHIKATSUYU” in Kumano Kodo. Winter plan to enjoy wild boar hot pot with outdoor kotatsu started.

Posted on December 6, 2022 by News Admin

Nihon Unisto reopened SEN.RETREAT CHIKATSUYU (1806 Chikatsuro, Nakaheji-cho, Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture).

Accommodation facility with a total of seven container houses and private gardens. Located in Chondoro, an inn town on the Kumano Kodo Route, a World Heritage Site in Wakayama Prefecture.

A wooden wall was installed at the entrance to the site facing busy Route 311 to prevent children and pets from jumping out and to maintain a private space. The inside of the wall is a stage for holding events, and the outside has a new space for sitting on as a bench.

To commemorate the reopening, the hotel has also launched a new plan that allows guests to enjoy wild boar hot pot while sitting under a kotatsu on the outdoor terrace. In addition to all-inclusive Wakayama sake and soft drinks, the plan is also equipped with warmers, blankets, and other warming goods. Reservations can be made through the official website.
