Club Med has begun winter operations at Club Med Hokkaido Sahoro (147-1 Shinnai Nishi 6 Line 147-1, Shintoku-cho, Kamikawa-gun, Hokkaido).
Club Med Hokkaido Sahoro is a ski resort located halfway up the Karikatsu Pass. It has 21 courses for beginners to advanced skiers, with skiing and snowboarding lessons available according to level. The high percentage of sunny days and good quality powder snow are popular with domestic and international travelers, and after a reopening in November 2019 and a closure due to the Corona disaster, the resort reopened this season for the first time in three years.
The 208 guest rooms include Superior Rooms (27m2), Deluxe Rooms (29m2), Family Deluxe Rooms (37m2), and Suites (74m2). The main restaurant, Daichi, offers a buffet featuring the unique flavors of Hokkaido and dishes from around the world. The specialty restaurant “MinaMina” will offer hot pot dishes.
Other facilities include an all-day “Wakka” bar, a fitness center, a large bathhouse with sauna, and an outdoor “Canadian Bath,” as well as a variety of activities such as a handmade soba noodle making experience and entertainment shows.
