JR West will operate extra trains in the Keihanshin area from midnight on New Year’s Eve to approximately 3:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
On the JR Kyoto and Kobe lines, extra trains will run between Nishi-Akashi and Takatsuki (every 20 minutes) and between Takatsuki and Kyoto (every 40 minutes).
The trains will operate approximately every 30 minutes between Kyoto and Joyo on the Nara Line, between Amagasaki and Shijonawate on the Tozai Line and Gakkentoshi Line, between Nara and Sakurai on the Manyo Mahoroba Line, and between JR Namba and Oji on the Yamato Line.
The Yamato Route between Oji and Nara will operate approximately every 60 minutes.
In addition, the Osaka Loop Line (inbound/outbound) and the Yumesaki Line between Sakurajima and Nishi-Kujo will operate at approximately 10-minute intervals.
