JR West will release “Winter Vacation ‘Children 1,000 yen! Family Ticket” exclusively for online reservation e5489.
The child fare on the Sanyo Shinkansen and certain sections of the Hokuriku, Nanki, Kita-Kinki, and San’in bullet train routes is a flat rate of 1,000 yen, and the accompanying adult can also take advantage of the discount. Reservations require free registration as a “J-WEST Net Member” and can be made only for the same itinerary by two or more people including one child (up to two children per reservation).
