Tokyo Bay Aqualine 25th Anniversary Special Day! Tour of Self-Defense Forces vessels, special products marché, etc.

The Umihotaru PA will be the venue for a tour of Self Defense Force ships, an exhibition of highway maintenance vehicles, and a PR booth commemorating the 80th anniversary of Kisarazu’s municipal organization. Other events include a “Marche on the Sea” where visitors can enjoy local delicacies from Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures, character meet and greets, and more. The details of each event are as follows

Self-Defense Forces PR booth and ship tours The fourth floor PR booth introduces the activities of the Self-Defense Forces. Visitors can also tour SDF vessels docked at the berthing facilities on the 1st floor.

Date and Time: December 3, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Kisarazu City 80th Anniversary PR Booth The event space on the 4th floor introduces the history and tourist information of Kisarazu City, which will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2022.

Date and Time: December 3, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Exhibit of highway maintenance vehicles Yellow patrol cars, construction vehicles, and other vehicles working on the highway are displayed on the Kawasaki side deck on the first floor.

Date and Time: December 3, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Character meet and greet: Official characters will appear at the event space on the 4th floor (1st and 3rd times) and at the Kawasaki side deck on the 5th floor (2nd time).

Implementation date: December 3, 2022

1st session: 10:30 – 11:00 (Manatee, Umihotaru-kun)

Second: 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. (Manatee, Umihotaru-kun, Cheeba-kun, Kisapon)

Third: 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. (Cheeba-kun, Kisapon)

Marche on the Sea Seasonal vegetables, sweets, side dishes and breads from Chiba and Kanagawa Prefectures will be sold at the event space on the 4th floor.

Date and Time: December 3-4, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Photo Contest Exhibit Selected works from the “Tokyo Bay Aqualine & Umihotaru 25th Anniversary Photo Contest” held from July to October 2022 will be exhibited on the 4th floor corridor.

Exhibition Period: December 3, 2022 – February 28, 2023

Umihotaru Workshop Making ornaments and batches using Chiba Prefecture’s Sambucus cedar. Visitors can participate by presenting receipts for a total of 3,000 yen or more spent on food, shopping, etc. in the Umihotaru PA.

Implementation Date: December 3-4, 2022

Time: Morning session 10:00 – 12:00 / Afternoon session 1:00 – 3:00

Target: Limited to 50 elementary school students and under on each day

Participation fee: Free of charge
