Satofuru begins offering “PayPay Gift Certificates” as a reward for returning tax payments to hometowns.

Satofuru and PayPay will start offering “PayPay Gift Certificates” as a return gift on November 29, 2012 on the Satofuru tax portal site.

By selecting the desired municipality and the amount of donation from 15 types ranging from 1,000 yen to 500,000 yen, and making a donation, the user can acquire PayPay gift certificates. The acquired PayPay gift certificates can be used up to 180 days after the donation at stores and facilities in the area that offer products and services that meet the local government’s local product standards.

Donors can smoothly receive and pay for PayPay gift certificates on “PayPay”. There is no need to carry around accommodation vouchers.

The municipalities that will begin offering PayPay gift certificates within this year are Otaru City, Chitose City, Furano City, Noboribetsu City, Mori Town, Kutchan Town, Shiraoi Town, Toyako Town, Anpei Town, Mukawa Town, Kushiro Town, Teshikaga Town, Yamagata Prefecture, Yonezawa City, Tochigi Prefecture, Nikko City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Nanao City, Aichi Prefecture, Okazaki City, Minamichita Town, Mie Prefecture, Ise City, Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyotango City, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture; Nara City, Nara Prefecture; Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture; Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture; Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture; Dazaifu City and Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture; and others.
