Cab app GO launches “GO PREMIUM” in Tokyo’s five wards, allowing users to specify a luxury one-box without a lantern.

On November 16, Mobility Technologies will pre-launch GO PREMIUM, a new service for its GO cab app, in Chiyoda, Minato, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Chuo wards.

GO PREMIUM” is a service that allows customers to place designated orders for luxury one-box cars. The service is staffed by qualified drivers and only accepts orders via the application. The vehicle used is a Toyota Alphard, which does not have a super sign on the car to indicate the availability of the vehicle or the lights on the car. The vehicle can accommodate up to six passengers, and since payment is made in advance, there is no rear-seat tablet, which is usually provided.

The GO Premium button will be displayed if there is a vehicle in the area and nearby that is eligible for premiums when the passenger enters the boarding location on GO and presses “Next”. In addition to the pick-up fee and arrangement fee, a premium charge of 0-30% of the fare is planned. The rate will fluctuate according to the supply-demand balance. The number of vehicles and service areas will be expanded in the future.
