Tourism Isumi, which promotes regional tourism in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture, will hold the “Poppoya Experience DX,” a simulated experience of being an Isumi Railway train worker, on November 23.
The event is open to children ages 3 and up and adults. Visitors can enjoy a virtual driving experience in the driver’s seat of a Kiha 30 currently on display at Kuniyoshi Station, a lecture on reading diagrams, dog nailing, and other railroad work as if they were railroad workers. At Otaki Station, visitors can also tour the inspection depot and observe the work of the command staff.
Limited to the first 15 participants, the fee will be 10,000 yen.
