Moving Inn TOKACHI” to enjoy the great nature of Tokachi, Hokkaido, with wood-fired open-air bath and sauna in a Japanese-style trailer house.

Posted on November 13, 2022 by News Admin

Moving Inn has begun taking reservations for lodging at Moving Inn TOKACHI (44-5 Koujien, Taiki-machi, Hiroo-gun, Hokkaido), which will open in spring 2023.

Moving Inn TOKACHI is an accommodation facility with only four lots on a 20,000 tsubo site in the virgin forests of Tokachi. The site offers a “new type of travel” where guests can enjoy unspoiled wilderness and spectacular scenery in trailer houses equipped with comfortable amenities.

During the soft opening period starting December 10, all plans will be discounted by 30%, and reservations can be made through the official Moving Inn website.

There are two types of accommodations: the “Grand Suite” (NAGAME site/AWASE site), which includes a living room and kitchen, and the “Nature Suite” (KODACHI site/HOTORI site), where rented camping vehicles are connected to the site and guests stay overnight in their vehicles. There are two types to choose from. All sites are equipped with sauna trailers with water baths and wood-fired outdoor baths in tasteful wooden tubs.

Breakfast and dinner meals included in each plan feature dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients. Dinner is a five- to six-course meal, with Ishikari nabe and sukiyaki-style deer hot pot as the main course, served by the chef using the dining trailer’s sunken hearth. In the morning, Western-style dishes such as grilled beef bacon, Tokachi-Hiroo seafood clam chowder, and green salad with local vegetables will be served.
