Tobu Railway will hold a lottery to sell travel products that allow passengers to board the new Spacia X limited express train on its first day of operation, which will be July 15, 2023.
Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro will sell them as fukubukuro from December 1 to January 3, 2023, and Tobu Store will sell them as Black Friday items from November 14 to 25, 2023. In both cases, winners will be selected by lottery.
The Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro’s fukubukuro allows passengers to board the first train on the first day of operation of Spacia X and use the top-of-the-line private “cockpit suite”. The plan includes accommodation in a Lake Chuzenji View Suite at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko (3 days/2 nights). The price is 800,000 yen per couple and includes a 50,000 yen gift certificate from Tobu Department Store and premium benefits.
Tobu Store’s Black Friday product allows passengers to board a compartment, a private room, and stay at the Nikko Kanaya Hotel and other hotels (3 days/2 nights). The price will be 180,000 yen per person.
