RNT Hotels, the hotel business arm of Royal Holdings, will renovate Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Oshiage (5-13F, 1-10-3 Oshiage, Sumida-ku, Tokyo) and hold its grand opening on December 27. Reservations for the hotel will be accepted from late November.
The hotel, located just a minute walk from Oshiage Station and right in front of Tokyo Skytree, has been working to create a cozy space with an Edo-style flair under the concept of “WA-GOCOCHI” since its opening in 2015.
In this renewal, “SHARE LOUNGE,” which can be used freely as a café or office, was introduced on the 5th floor, where the lobby/front desk is located, in order to make it a center for various cultures and people to interact with each other. In addition, a sauna room for relaxation was newly established on the 6th floor, inspired by the fact that inns used to stand side by side along the Sumida River and the Oshiage area used to be a place for travelers to rest.
Of the 260 guest rooms, the 13th floor has been designated as a “concept floor” with new rooms with different themes: books/movies/games/japan. In addition, the breakfast menu at Sizzler, a salad bar and grill restaurant on the 5th floor of the hotel, has been improved.
As Richmond Hotels’ first “experiential hotel,” the hotel will offer added value to its guests, allowing them to enjoy a variety of ways to spend their time in the hotel as well as for sightseeing and business.
