JAL has announced details of its first sunrise flight of 2023. Applications for both flights to and from Haneda and Narita airports will be accepted by lottery starting at 2:00 p.m. on November 10.
The tour from/to Haneda Airport has a capacity of 250 people and departs from Haneda Airport to view the first sunrise near Choshi. After that, the course will take passengers to Mt. The aircraft will be an Airbus A350-900, with first class, class J, and standard seats available.

The tour to/from Narita Airport has a capacity of 174 passengers. The tour starts at Narita Airport and heads for the waters off Tateyama to watch the first sunrise of the new year. After that, the course will proceed westward across Tokyo Bay to view Mt. The aircraft will be an international Boeing 787-8, with business and economy classes available. The plan also includes an overnight stay at the Hotel Nikko Narita.
