Tobu Railway has decided on the name “TOBU icourt” for the commercial facility it is promoting for development near Dokkyo University’s Soka Matsubara Station on the Tobu Skytree Line.
Based on the four lifestyle themes of “Foodie,” “Design,” “Culture,” and “Wellness,” the facility will consist of three zones: a picnic terrace zone with terraces, a quality marché zone focusing on food, and a wellness living zone to enrich people’s lives. The name expresses “my (i)” and “courtyard (court),” and the aim is to create a facility that will serve as a hub for people to gather and live. The number of stores is planned to be 25.
In the area surrounding the station, the company has established four “Solaie” brand condominiums and satellite offices, and is also attracting daycare centers.
