UDS will open the hotel “SOKI KANAZAWA” (2-1 Fukuromachi, Kanazawa, Ishikawa) on November 19.
DAIKEI MILLS is the partner for the interior design, which expresses continuity with the surrounding landscape through the washed-out flooring and other features. The restaurant and guest rooms are also included in the design, which aims to create a single “vessel”.
There will be 130 guest rooms in total, consisting of 12 types. The rooms will be decorated with white wood and iron to express natural textures, with tableware, coasters, and other furnishings made in Ishikawa Prefecture, and amenities such as bamboo toothbrushes that are environmentally friendly. In addition, two “Herbal Rooms” will be available daily in collaboration with EarthRing, an aroma distillery, and EarthRing’s aromas will also be offered to the general public.
Meals will be served at a Japanese restaurant on the first floor, which will be called “Kuuchio/Kuushio,” which will operate under the name “Kuuchio” for breakfast and “Kuushio” for dinner. Kaga Kensetsu, which operates a restaurant business in Ishikawa Prefecture, will handle kappo cuisine with a focus on obanzai.
