Marriott Bonvoy points can now be converted to Rakuten points

Posted on November 7, 2022 by News Admin

Rakuten Group and Marriott International have launched the conversion of Marriott Bonvoy points to Rakuten points. Marriott Bonvoy points can be exchanged for Rakuten points, the first major common point program in Japan.

The exchange rate is 3 Marriott Bonvoy points to 1 Rakuten point. The minimum exchange limit is 3,000 points, from which the number of points can be set in 3-point increments. The maximum exchange limit is 240,000 points per day.

Eligible users must be Rakuten members with Rakuten ID and also be Marriott Bonvoy members. Redemption is possible in approximately two weeks from application.

To transfer Marriott Bonvoy points, visit the Marriott Bonvoy points transfer page, select Rakuten points as the transfer destination, enter your Rakuten points account number in the account number field, and determine the number of points you wish to transfer and apply for the transfer.
