NEXCO East Japan will close the East Mito Road (E50) Mito Oarai IC to Hitachinaka IC during the night for detailed bridge inspection and pavement repair work.
The event will take place on November 7 and 8 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day, with November 9-11 and 14 as reserve days.
During the period, drivers are urged to detour using Route 51 and Route 245. The Mito Oarai IC to Hitachinaka IC takes about 5 minutes, but the detour on the open road takes about 20 minutes, so the company recommends that motorists allow extra time for the detour. The Hitachinaka Toll Road can be used as usual.
