Walt Disney Japan will release a series of items that will bring Christmas cheer at Disney Flagship Tokyo, Disney Store, and the official online store shopDisney starting November 1.
For 2022, the design features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Santa Claus costumes enjoying Christmas, using art from the U.S. parks. Decorative items include a plush wreath with Mickey and Friends all lined up in a friendly row, a tapestry that lights up like a Christmas tree, garland with Mickey icons and star-shaped motifs, and snow globes that light up like lanterns. The items will also be available. The lineup also includes Christmas-colored plate sets, a pair of mugs, and cutlery such as gold-colored spoons with cute characters wearing red Santa hats. Advent calendars will be available in multiple versions, some containing sweets and others containing pin badges.
Christmas ornaments include “Lilo & Stitch” and “Bambi”. They are designed for the anniversary with coin-shaped charms. In addition, the lineup includes products that make Christmas more lively, such as those that play music or light up when the switch on the bottom is turned on.
From Disney Parks in the U.S., items featuring “Monsters, Inc.” and “Star Wars” motifs are available. Christmas socks featuring Sally’s feet, a Christmas wreath with Mike and Boo motifs based on Sally’s pattern, figures featuring the Ewoks from “Star Wars,” cardigans, and more will be available.
TSUM TSUM” will feature characters wearing Christmas costumes. The gorgeous designs are created by using pearl beads and glittering parts in a combination of white, gold, silver, and mocha colors. A total of eight types will be available, including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the Santa Claus motif, and Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in the snowman motif.
When purchased at Shop Disney, the product will be delivered in a special box depicting Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and their friends in Santa Claus costumes.
In addition, a campaign is underway to give away original can ornaments. Purchases of 12,000 yen or more at Shop Disney will receive 3 ornaments, and purchases of 4,000 yen or more at Disney Flagship Tokyo and Disney Stores will receive 1 ornament.
