ritomaru house iki ashibe, a house for rent on Iki Island, Nagasaki that allows dogs to stay overnight

Ritomaru has opened “ritomaru house iki ashibe” (772-1 Ashibe-ura, Ashibe-cho, Iki City, Nagasaki Prefecture), its third house for rent on Iki Island with an ocean view.

The two-story building has a living room (10.5 tatami mats), dining kitchen (10 tatami mats), and Japanese-style room (6 tatami mats) on the first floor, and bedroom A (futon, 6.5 tatami mats), bedroom B (double bed, 9.5 tatami mats), and bedroom C (double bed, 13 tatami mats) on the second floor. Rates start at 30,000 yen for two persons on weekdays. The maximum number of guests is 9, with an additional 5,000 yen for each additional guest. Guests can bring their own dogs to stay at the hotel for 5,000 yen per dog for small and medium-sized dogs, and 10,000 yen per dog for large dogs.

Optional 3-hour rental of a 3-person electric tuk-tuk and 3-hour use of a tent sauna. Check-in is from 3pm to 7pm and check-out is at 10am.

The facility is located a 1-minute walk to the Kiyosihama beach. In the spacious living/dining room, you can enjoy videos on a large 100-inch screen, and the four rooms provide private space. In addition, a BBQ terrace is also available on the premises.

Reservations can be made through the official website. The grand opening commemorative plan “with tent sauna or electric tuk-tuk” available for nationwide travel support will be on sale from October 26 to December 20.
