Kintetsu to Offer “Custom-Made Self-Travel” on the “Shimakaze” Sightseeing Express. Private rooms, luxurious accommodations in Ise-Shima, and other options available.

Kintetsu (Kinki Nippon Railway Co., Ltd.) has launched “-An Adult Journey of the Highest Luxury: Kintetsu Custom-Made Self-Travel” on the sightseeing limited express “Shimakaze.

The destination is Kenshima in Ago Bay, Shima City, Mie Prefecture. The tour will depart from and arrive at one of three stations (Kintetsu Nagoya, Osaka Namba, or Kyoto Station), and will include round-trip service from each station to Kenshima Station (free drinks are included). If you apply at least 35 days prior to the departure date, you can use a private Shimakaze room (Japanese-style room or Western-style room, limited to one per train).

Guests can choose from five accommodations on the island and can freely combine multiple accommodations for one to six nights. In addition to the daily hospitality and transportation from Kenshima Station, each facility will offer the highest grade of guest rooms. The program also offers original services such as luxury cuisine using Mie brand ingredients and chartered cruising.

They can also customize the trip to their liking by choosing from a “Ago Bay Sunset Cruise” charter plan, a guide by a high-class tour conductor familiar with Ise-Shima, a car hire service, a rental car, and other options.
