Ikyu.com, a luxury hotel and ryokan operator, will launch “Tadaima Tokyo Plus,” a nationwide travel support service for trips to destinations in Tokyo, on October 20 at 12:00 pm.
Discounts are available for reservations made at accommodation facilities with the “National Travel Support” mark on ichiyu.com. 40% of the travel price (maximum 8,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation; maximum 5,000 yen for other travel products) will be subsidized, and a local coupon (3,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) will be given for souvenir purchases, etc.
The subsidy cannot be used in conjunction with the “More Tokyo” offer for Tokyo residents on IchiYu.com. The offer is valid until December 21 for check-outs, but sales will end as soon as the subsidy budget reaches its maximum.
