On October 20, ANA X updated the “ANA Mileage Club App” and relaunched it as the “Gate App” that serves as a gateway to the Group’s various services.
The new app includes the existing “ANA App” and “ANA Pocket” as mini-applications, as well as functions for booking award tickets and hotel reservations using miles. It can also display stores where ANA Pay can be used and spots where miles can be earned according to the user’s current location.
The update planned for the beginning of the year will include a new e-commerce mall as a mini-application, and partner companies will open stores to strengthen the lineup of daily necessities, home appliances, etc. Opportunities to earn and spend miles will also be increased.
In addition, next spring’s renewal will revamp ANA Pay and expand its recharge and payment options, allowing users to recharge from one mile. In addition to credit cards, bank accounts and ATMs can be used for recharging. Payments will support QR codes, touch payments, and virtual prepaid cards.
