Nippon Travel Agency will launch “TADAIMA TOKYO PLUS,” a nationwide travel support program for travel to destinations in Tokyo, on October 20 at 12:00 pm.
Eligible products to which the discount applies are as follows
Accommodation Plan
JR + Accommodation Package Plan
Air + Accommodation Package Plan
Day trip plans and local payment plans are not applicable.
The subsidy covers 40% of the trip price (up to 8,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and up to 5,000 yen for other travel products). Coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays) for souvenirs and other purchases are available at the lodging facility upon check-in. Eligible lodging facilities are listed on a special page (to be updated as necessary).
In addition, Nippon Travel Agency sells “Japan Trip Cancellation Insurance” that provides up to 100% refund of cancellation fees (for travel after October 27 and within 14 days including the reservation date). The price varies depending on the price of the trip (e.g., 380 yen for a trip costing 15,000 yen), and for an additional 300 yen or more, a “Domestic Travel Accident Insurance” package with a lump-sum Corona payment (30,000 yen) is also available.
