The list of eligible lodging businesses (hotels and inns) and coupon merchants remains “in preparation.
The period of Tokyo’s nationwide travel support is from October 20 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21). 40% of the trip price (maximum 8,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/ maximum 5,000 yen for other products) will be subsidized, and coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) for souvenir purchases, etc. will be given. (weekdays: 3,000 yen/weekends: 1,000 yen) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc. The subsidy can also be used in conjunction with the “More Tokyo” tourism promotion program for Tokyo residents.
Eligible travelers residing in Japan must have received three doses of the novel corona vaccine or be able to present a negative certificate such as a PCR test.
