The Izumo Tourist Association, in a joint venture with the Shinmon-dori Hospitality Cooperative, has released “Izumo-no-kuni Yuho Techo” with “Izumo Rabbit” as the keyword. The price is 660 yen.

It introduces recommended and side trip spots within the Shinmon-dori, and includes a location map of rabbits installed in the precincts of Izumo-taisha Shrine and on Shinmon-dori. Visitors who collect the rabbit stamp rally can also enjoy a sand fortune-telling gacha (sand fortune-telling gacha). Also included is a “Sunamori (sand guardian) bag” in which sand from Inasa-no-hama beach can be placed.

In November, a campaign to give away Izumo rabbit goods will also be held. Shoppers will be entered into a drawing to win rabbit goods, and those who wish to stay at accommodations in the city will receive a “Izumo-no-kuni Yuho Techo” (Izumo Country Walking Handbook) as a gift.
