JAL and JR Hokkaido will hold the “Higashi & Kita Hokkaido Campaign”.
The campaign proposes a winter tour of Hokkaido by combining a JAL/JR Hokkaido Higashi & Kita Hokkaido Campaign Pass, a JR free pass exclusively for the campaign, with JAL flights to and from airports in the Higashi & Kita Hokkaido area.
The “JAL/JR Hokkaido Higashi & Kita Hokkaido Campaign Pass” allows unlimited travel on limited express, rapid, and local trains in certain areas of Hokkaido. It allows passengers to tour the East & Kita Hokkaido area, including Tokachi, Nemuro, Okhotsk, and Kamikawa, as well as the Sapporo area. Purchase as a travel product at the same time as JAL flights and accommodations. The departure airports are all airports in Japan except Hokkaido, and the arrival airports are New Chitose (Sapporo), Memanbetsu, Asahikawa, Kushiro, and Obihiro airports.
As a special campaign prize, visitors will receive a “Tabi Atsume” notebook that allows them to leave sketches and other memories of station stamps, tickets, admission tickets, and wildlife that caught their eye.
Showing the pass at any of the approximately 80 facilities in the area will receive a “little present” such as a free drink or meal at a restaurant or lodging facility, a discount on admission tickets to tourist facilities, and a discount on access buses from the airport to the nearest major train station.
