NEXCO Central Japan announced on October 12 that the 2.4 km stretch of the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway (E41) between Gokayama IC and Johata SA and the 3.5 km stretch between Fukko IC and Oyabe Tonami JCT will be opened to traffic with four lanes at 6:00 on November 12.
With the completion of this project, all sections of approximately 10 km (4.7 km from the Gokayama IC to the Fukumitsu IC and 5.3 km from near the Nanto Smart IC to the Oyabe Tonami JCT) that were put into operation in fiscal 2016 (2016) will be converted to four lanes.
