NTT Urban Development Corporation has concluded a hotel management consignment agreement with Capella Hotel Group for the Osaka Houenzaka Hotel project in the Houenzaka Kita Specific Area. The hotel will be branded “Patina Hotels & Resorts” and named “Patina Osaka,” and will open in the spring of 2025.
The “Patina” brand will be the first to open in the Maldives in 2021, the first in Japan and the second in the world. The hotel will have approximately 220 rooms, including standard rooms of 50m2 or more with balconies. In addition, the hotel will have a spa and fitness area, a sky lobby overlooking Osaka Castle and the Namba Palace Ruins, restaurants, and a banquet hall for MICE.
