Railroad Pudding” in jars with Yamanote Line and Tokaido Line designs. Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Railroad

Posted on October 12, 2022 by News Admin

The pastry store “Patisserie QBG” released “Railway Pudding – Trains of the past YAMANOTE & TOKAIDO LINE” on October 1.

This set of two types of puddings in jars depicting the Yamanote Line and Tokaido Line was released prior to the 150th anniversary of the railroad on October 14. It can be purchased at the Ecute Shinagawa station store in Shinagawa Station, as well as at the official online store and JRE MALL. It comes in an original box and comes with two types of train stickers. The price is 2090 yen.

The pudding dough is made with Canadian honey, which has a refreshing sweetness. The top is topped with green tea sauce and Onshu mandarin orange sauce, both of which are inspired by the colors of the respective lines. The bitter caramel sauce enhances the overall sweetness of the pudding and gives it a rich flavor.
