PASMO is calling attention to the fact that if the PASMO application for smartphones is not updated after 5:00 a.m. on October 12, the application will not be activated.
The company will be performing scheduled maintenance from 1:00 to 5:00 on the 12th, and the application will need to be updated accordingly. Even if the app cannot be launched, users will be able to use their charged balances to board trains and buses, make purchases, and recharge with cash at ticket vending machines.
However, the application will need to be updated in order to purchase and recharge commuter passes from the new PASMO application. The latest version of the app will be available by 5:00 a.m. on January 12.
With this update, it will be possible to apply for a commuter pass through the PASMO application.
