Tokyo Metropolitan Government Stamp Rally to visit about 100 designed manholes. Collect them and you can win a coaster and other prizes.

Posted on October 7, 2022 by News Admin

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will hold the “TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally,” a stamp rally in which participants will use their smartphones to visit designed manholes and tourist spots throughout Tokyo. The period is from October 5 to December 2.

Visitors can visit designed manholes and sightseeing spots (about 100 locations each) in the 62 wards, cities, towns, and villages in Tokyo and access the dedicated digital rally website from their smartphones to obtain stamps and points for each spot.

Pre-registration is required and participation is free. Once a certain number of points are accumulated and the conditions are met, participants will be entered into a drawing to win original manhole goods. Prizes include a desk calendar with a manhole pattern every month, an original “Tokyo Tokyo” notepad and ballpoint pen, and a manhole coaster.
