JR Tokai, in collaboration with Shachihata, will sell first-come, first-served originally designed ticket takers used by Tokaido Shinkansen conductors at ticket gates on the “JR Tokai Railway Club” website. The price is 8,000 yen for a single item (limited to 400 pieces) and 23,000 yen for a set of three (limited to 300 sets).
Three types of original designs are available: the Tokaido Shinkansen “N700S,” the limited express Hida “HC85 Series,” and the limited express Shinano “383 Series. 3-piece sets, which include all three types of stamps, will be delivered in a special original ticketer box. In addition, a special ink refill for the Chiketter (2,500 yen) will also be available for purchase. Orders will be accepted until October 31. Since the products are made to order, they will be shipped sequentially from mid-February 2023 onward.
In addition, a “die-cast model,” “Tokaido Shinkansen interlocking control panel,” and “driver’s cab auxiliary chair” will be available for lottery sales. The lottery application period is from 10:00 on October 14 to 23:59 on October 20.
