Chiba Prefecture has launched a national travel support website.
Chiba Prefecture has named the nationwide travel support “Chiba Tokubari Campaign” and the period is from October 11 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21). The subsidy will cover 40% of the cost of a trip to Chiba (up to 8,000 yen for travel products with transportation/up to 5,000 yen for other travel products), and coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) will be given for the purchase of souvenirs and other items.
Eligible applicants must be travelers residing in Japan and have received three doses of the novel corona vaccine or be able to present a negative certificate of PCR test.
The website also allows users to search for participating travel agencies, lodging facilities, and coupon agencies.
