Beltra, a booking site specializing in local hands-on activities, launched a promotion on October 5 for the Northern Mariana Islands, including Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, in cooperation with the Marianas Visitors Authority.
The deep water from the Mariana Trench, the deepest in the world, creates an overwhelming clarity in the waters of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, which is said to sometimes be as clear as 100 meters, allowing visitors to see underwater scenery as far away as their eyesight can see. Diving and outdoor sports are therefore popular here.
The popular island of Managaha is a 10-15 minute boat ride away. The emerald green waters, designated as a marine reserve, are perfect for snorkeling. The inner side of the island is a tropical forest, with paths that allow visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll.
One lucky winner will win a round-trip ticket from Narita to Saipan (nonstop flight on United Airlines) by answering a questionnaire that can be completed through the “Adventure Island Mariana” website. The application period is from October 8 to November 8, and the travel period is from December 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023. The winner will be notified around November.
