Hokkaido has launched a national travel support website.
Hokkaido’s nationwide travel support is called “HOKKAIDO LOVE! Discount” and runs from October 11 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21). The subsidy is 40% of the price of a trip to Hokkaido (up to 8,000 yen for travel products that include transportation, and up to 5,000 yen for other travel products), and coupons for 3,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays, which can be used to purchase souvenirs, are provided.
The website introduces the differences from the Domin Discount (prefectural discount) in a table format.
