Contact East opened Camp & Sauna UUSi (1480 Uchiura, Kamogawa, Chiba).
Ousi is a members-only (25 years and older) camp facility equipped with an authentic Finnish sauna. It is a compact structure designed to give adults a sense of privacy so that they can spend their time freely and leisurely. In the sauna room equipped with a large Moki wood-fired sauna stove, visitors can enjoy the steam from the wax bath while listening to the sound of crackling wood burning. The water bath uses high-quality natural underground water that maintains a temperature of around 16°C throughout the year.
The campground also has a sake store, “Usagi to Tora,” where you can purchase selected craft beers, wines, authentic shochu, sake, and other beverages on the spot. It is also recommended to go to the market, a 10-minute drive from the campground, to buy seafood and enjoy a seafood BBQ with locally brewed sake.
