Pokémon will hold a special drone show to celebrate the 6th anniversary of Pokémon GO at the 19th Konosu Fireworks Festival to be held on October 1 on the banks of the Arakawa River in Konosu, Saitama Prefecture.
The company has also held drone shows at the 56th Otaru Tidal Festival in Otaru, Hokkaido, and at the Akagawa Fireworks Presents 2022 in Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture, but this time it is arranged for autumn specifications. Under the theme of the new concept “Autumn has come, the season for great adventures,” new Pokémon will appear in addition to the popular Pikachu, Lizardon, and other Pokémon of the past.
On the day of the event, part of the special drone show and fireworks will be held in collaboration, and approximately 700 drones will color the night sky of Konosu, Saitama, along with approximately 15,000 fireworks.
