Nomura will begin offering “desginers villa EGDE” (773-53, Fukura C. 773-53, Minami-Awaji, Hyogo Prefecture), a single villa for rent, to tourists visiting Awaji Island on October 1. Reservations for the stay are being accepted through the official website.
The edgy triangular building was designed by a local architect. The luxurious structure incorporates Awaji Island materials such as Japanese paper and plasterwork throughout the interior, and the living room and bedrooms offer a spectacular view of Fukura Bay. Rooms are available in the 101m2 “SUITE.” (from 65,000 yen/night, capacity 2-6 persons) and the 75m2 “COZY.” (from 45,000 yen/night, capacity 2-4 persons). COZY.” accommodates small to large dogs and has a private grass terrace.
The meal will include hors d’oeuvres and hot pot dishes using seasonal local fish and vegetables from Awaji Island with the cooperation of local restaurants, as well as on-site itamae service from “FUKUototo,” a restaurant specializing in aged fish.
