SYNCA will conduct a demonstration experiment on the effects of visits to Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, through a campaign based on the “Hello, again Coin,” a digital local currency. The campaign will run from September 28 to January 3, 2023.
Applicants who pay with “Hello, again coins” and post on Facebook or Instagram will be entered into a drawing to win 2000 AGN (equivalent to 2000 yen) in coins. Drawings will be held weekly, with 5 winners each week, for a total of 70 winners.
The number of payment users, number of payments, number of visits, etc. will be investigated from the payment logs of these coins to verify the effects of campaign implementation on visits, as well as the effects on building relationships within the community and among users by analyzing the gift (tip) function, the gift function between users (personal remittance) function, and the message function.
