Kumamoto Experience Event “Kumahaku 2022” produced by Kumamon. Special travel products are also available.

Kumamoto City will hold “Kumamoto Expo 2022” from October 8 to November 6, 2010 under the theme of “Kumamoto, Kumamoto. Kumamoto City will hold “Kumahaku 2022,” an exposition that will allow visitors to experience Kumamoto’s music, cuisine, sports, and other attractions, from October 8 to November 6 under the theme of “Kumanaku, Kumamoto. Kumamon, Kumamoto Prefecture’s sales manager and general manager of the Happiness Department, will be the general producer and will be involved in a variety of events that will allow visitors to experience the charms of Kumamoto.

The two venues are “Amu Hiroba,” a lively exchange space at Kumamoto Station, and “Hanabatake Hiroba,” a large hall in the city of Kumamoto.

To commemorate the event, an opening ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 8, the first day of the event, at Amu Hiroba with Kumamon making an appearance. The “Kumahaku” monument will be unveiled, and Kumamon and the Kumamoto Castle Omotenashi Busyoutai will perform a collaborative dance.

During the same period as the event, a 5,000 yen discount per person per night will be offered on travel packages that include accommodation in Kumamoto City, experiences in 10 areas in Kumamoto Prefecture (excluding Kumamoto City), and gourmet food.
